For those of you who still watch my gallery, I have good news and bad news.

The bad news: this gallery is closed. I've taken down all of my work and will no longer be posting.

The good news: I have a new gallery! AND I'm drawing again! So head over to pepperedhare.deviantart.com to check out the new work.

how easy or hard is it to get into an art school in the US?!
because there seems to be a lot of art school folk on here, and it britain getting into art school is almost impossible because there are so many people wanting in and not enough spaces, like 116 spaces is the limit i think in the actual art school!? there are art colleges, but they arent as good. but they're still excessively elitist and snobby!

Ah, I'm not in an actual art school, I'm at a state university. They have their own "School of Fine Arts" that's a part of the larger university (along with the schools of science, liberal arts, etc). I'm not sure how competitive art schools--as in, colleges/universities dedicated purely to fine arts--are, because I couldn't afford to get into one and therefore never tried. But I hear they can be pretty killer as far as competition goes.

The nice thing about an art major, though, is that so much of it depends on your work ethic and your skills... so it's possible to get a good experience in a variety of educational settings. ^_^ Or so I tell myself, heh.
